Booking and prices
How much does a tattoo cost?
Our shop minimum is $150 for any tattoo. Tattoos that take one hour or less usually cost $150–$300. Larger pieces that take two hours or more are around $200 per hour. Some artists have a higher minimum. The final price is set on the day of your appointment, based on size, design and placement.
How do I get an estimate?
Send us a tattoo request through our online form with your idea, size and placement. We usually reply within 48 hours by email or text.
Do I need a consultation?
Small designs and simple lettering can be booked without one. Custom pieces, larger work and cover-ups need a request first, so your artist can plan the design.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a $100 deposit reserves your appointment and is applied to the price of your tattoo. The deposit is non-refundable. You can move it to a new date once if you let us know at least 48 hours before your appointment.
What payment do you accept?
Cards, Zelle, Venmo and cash. Each artist has their preferred method, so please confirm with your artist or the shop. Card payments have a 2.5% fee.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, when an artist is free. Space is limited, so call the shop or check our Instagram @tattoopoint.oc for same-day openings.
Can we book a group or matching tattoos?
Yes. Please book a separate appointment for each person, either back-to-back with one artist or at the same time with different artists. Each person pays their own deposit.
Before your appointment
How old do I need to be?
You must be 18 or older and bring a valid government-issued photo ID.
How should I prepare?
Sleep well, eat a proper meal before your session, and wear comfortable clothes that give easy access to the tattoo area.
Can I use numbing cream?
Yes, but please tell your artist before your appointment if you plan to use it.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, friends are welcome to come with you.
Where do I park?
Parking is free, right in front of the studio and around the building on both sides.
Cover-ups
Can you cover my old tattoo?
Often, yes. It depends on the size, how dark the old ink is, where it is, and the condition of the skin. Send us a tattoo request and your artist will tell you what is possible. Every cover-up is a custom project, so the price depends on its size and complexity.
Healing and touch-ups
How do I take care of my new tattoo?

Do you offer touch-ups?
Yes. Touch-ups for tattoos done at Tattoo Point are always free.

Monday to Sunday, 11 AM – 9 PM.

Is the studio safe and clean?
Yes. Every needle and tool is either single-use or fully sterilized.
Do you do piercings?
No, we only do tattoos.
